Will you be my huckleberry?

October 18, 2010 by Jackie

On Saturday, volunteer Connie brought huckleberry plants for the chimps- what fun enrichment! Here are a couple of the shots J.B. got of Annie enjoying hers out in the sunshine:

Love those 2 pics! Love her lower lip in first pic…….she just barely brushes over the berries in anticipation of what is to come. Second pic says it all……that twinkle in her eyes tells the whole story!! She’s so happy.

It was the best feeling to give the chimps something new…..and they loved it!

Annie gets such joy out of everything she sees. It is so much fun to watch her delight in those eyes spread to the rest of her face. Thanks Connie.

Thanks for giving the chimps a wonderful Saturday with something new and exciting, Connie. I’m smiling right now just thinking about how happy you made them!
