I’m now a “Sr.” & have had such a deep & passionate love & interest for Nature & animals (particularly Great Apes) for well over half a century, & I still love reading & hearing about them…& of course, just observing them…I bet you feel the same way, but I could spend hours upon hours, upon hours, just sitting unobtrusively off a ways to do observe & journal about them…How splendid that would be…

Just getting through birthday brunch and calls from friends with wishes, and ready to get myself outside to take advantage of the fact that we’re at 50 degrees and not rainy or snowy, with a walk at the local reserve. Alas, no chimps, just a lot of deer, rabbits, the occasional coywolf, and lots of ocean waves! We’ll have to wait and see what’s in this video from the other day, right?
