Bounty of trolls

July 6, 2010 by J.B.

This morning I watched Foxie gather what may have been the largest number of trolls she has ever carried at one time. She had a troll scarf, a sock full of trolls, and probably seven or eight loose trolls. It took her a few minutes just to figure out how she could hold them all at once.

In case you were wondering, she did it by holding the sock and scarf in one hand, a couple trolls in the other hand, one troll in each foot, and one in her mouth.

She seemed quite satisfied with her collection. She spent the rest of the day passing trolls to her caregivers and initiating wild games of chase throughout the sanctuary.

I love Foxie’s soul, it’s nice to see her with her babies, because they bring her happiness. Now did she fill the sock herself or did you all put them out like that?

The staff and volunteers stuff the socks with trolls (and tie them to scarves).

So much like me at 10! I couldn’t have enough of those beloved trolls. I also cut their hair and dressed them funny.
I troll ebay for troll lots and mail ’em up there when I can.

LOL – that’s a pretty happy problem to have – such abundance! And enough confidence in her abundance to put some into another’s hands – knowing they’d come back to her.

Y’all are great at coming up with things to keep the chimps entertained. 🙂

Leslie, you brought up a good question, we’ve seen Jamie pull out the hair of a troll doll, has Foxie been seen removing body parts?

To Peter Cross, welcome to the blog, how great that CSNW is now international.

Candy – I have not seen Foxie take apart a troll yet. She does hit them and throw them from time to time, however.
