Happy Birthday, Sylvia!

June 15, 2018 by Katelyn

Burrito’s Pal, Carrie Miller, sponsored today for Annie’s Pal, Sylvia Gandolfo, for her birthday! Carrie shares this message about her lovely gift:

“Happy Birthday to Sylvia, who dearly loves “her girl, Annie Chimpanzee”, and who is the Best Care Manager I know – on and off the job!”

Carrie and Sylvia, we so appreciate you both keeping the chimps in your hearts and always choosing to add to their lives as you celebrate your own.

Sylvia, we hope you have a really beautiful day full of all that makes your heart happy. Thank you for helping to ensure Annie and her family have all their days forward to celebrate.

What?! No comments yet on these beautiful photographs of the Beautiful Annie-Bird? Were I one of the local non-human animals by the outside of Young’s Hill to stop and view the residents (i.e. Ellie the Elk), my initial reaction might be one of apprehension to see Annie striding bipedally
towards me; even so, she is gorgeous. If I recall correctly, the bluish tint to one of
the photos was taken a few weeks ago when Annie and Co. helped themselves to
    bouquets of lilacs.

Hi Tobin, yep, I believe that is indeed a lilac crumb on Annie’s lip. 🙂

Loved Burito holding the rose in his foot. Great photos.
