Morning Stroll

May 27, 2026 by Kelsi 6 Comments

This morning after breakfast, Jamie very enthusiastically gestured for Dusty and I to go on a walk. It had been a while since I had gone on a walk, so I looked at Dusty and say “Well, let’s go then!”, and a walk we did! We went for a nice and slow perimeter walk where Jamie looked for snakes and Missy collected as many yellow goatsbeard weeds in her mouth as she could! It was a really nice way to start the day. I hope this walk made your day the way it did for Dusty and I!

Can’t think of a nicer way to start your day! A leisurely stroll with old friends. Hope everyone appreciates Jamie patrolling for snakes. She seemed very focused until the very end when she gave up on snakes and challenged you to run! Nice to see some things never change.

    I love bonus Terry–so whispy!!

Well, how good is that to be able to take a stroll with Jamie and Missy. Don’t blame you for puting the tasks on hold. Is it the snake season your way or was Jamie just being cautious? Missy seemed to be enjoying her morning outing and the construction work didn’t faze them one bit. I bet that leisure time energised you for the motning work ahead.??:sparkling_heart::sparkling_heart:.

It is indeed snake season, and the grass be tall. The Boss knows well what she does.
If only I were close by; I’d mow them some paths in a heartbeat! (well, ok, I’d have to learn to use the tractor first…but still. I know, they’re busy eith construction).

No better way to start the day than having The Boss make you feel special!

I just love seeing them doing what they love… Jamie on patrol for snakes, all business… And Missy who is climbing and running all around!
