Rage Baiting

April 28, 2026 by Chad de Bree

Chimpanzees are prolific tool users. In the wild, chimpanzees have been documented fishing for termites, ants, and algae. Since we are kind of low on those fishing items, the fish for other things. For instance, as you’ll see in you video, Willy B likes to fish for attention from his neighbors. Though you’ll see Willy B doing most of the work, or lack thereof, we are sure he wasn’t the one who thought of this concept. The one most likely who started this activity is:

Honey B!

Though he didn’t start this behavior, I’m sure Willy B appreciates adding another chaos maker to his repertoire.

Ah, a completely vegan fishing expedition. I was beguiled by this video “hook, line, and sinker”.

I wonder, now that Willy, Beans, and Maeve live together, and apart from Gordo and Raynie’s group, if the separate groupings regard each other as adversaries? I assume that herding chimpanzees is about as easy as herding cats (or amoebas, for that matter), but I hope that accommodations can be logistically arranged so that Dora can have a playdate with her besties Maeve and Beezie. Perhaps one day when Willy is out on the Brae fishing for the attention of Jamie and Foxie, the Girls Club can once again convene.

I was hoping for the same, Tobin, but JB said that the last few times Dora came over, Willy B was not very nice to her:confused:
      Poor Mave!

Willy B learned from the Mistress of Merriment, Mischief and Monkeyshines.

That was sooo funny! The video and your commentary! Honey B is a clever girl and Willy B is a quick study. Do these two go fishing on a regular basis or is this the first time?

That Honey B is always finding a new way to keep things interesting! Willy definitely is quick to learn when it comes to sewing chaos!

I truly just cannot convey how much I love Honey B. Is that not just the sweetest picture you ever saw?? It definitely camouflages that spirit and personality inside.

Yes, it’s a wonderful photo of Honey B – she looks so innocent while she’s up to no good 😀

Everytime I see Willy B’s name mentioned in a post, I know that there has been trouble. I can’t beleive this. The chimps are so ingenouis. This was so hilarious. All the chaos over a firehouse. If I didn’t see it with my own eyes I would not have beleived it. Willy B’s brain is ticking all the time. I didn’t know that Honey B was an instigator. That was a surprise to me. Between the two of them, it means double trouble!!!
