The benefits of introductions

December 11, 2025 by Anna

We’ve seen some lovely introduction progress since Rayne moved in with George and Cy a couple of weeks ago. We are considering adding an additional member to their group in the coming days.

Aside from the enthusiastic play faces on both Rayne and George, I gotta say what really captured my heart was Rayne and her Happy Feet play maneuvers! That was so funny. These two have become good pals in a rather short amount of time. It’s just wonderful.

What a fun game! As Kathleen noted yesterday, our sweet Georgie is going to be groomed bald soon!

I know you guys don’t always plan it, you have to take whoever comes along, but is Li’l Miss Secret Sauce next?

George and Rayne’s game of patty cake was just the silliest thing! It just brings me so much joy to see him not only living with other chimps, but forming real friendships! Cy was keeping watch from his incredibly plush-looking nest. Jamie style, dare I say?

That was so funny with Rayne and his feet up in the air!!! I love to watch them play. You can see how
happy they are. I am so happy that the introductions are going so well for George!!!! Everyone enjoys playing with him. George seems to have a wonderful demeanor.
