George is so energenic and such an acrobat. He’s flat out wonderful!

What were your thoughts before George met Willy B? From the clip, it seemed to go well.
Go, George, Go! It’s wonderful seeming him grow in cofidence.

I’m always nervous when the males meet but Willy did really well in his previous dyadic intros (his chaotic side only emerges after he lives with others for a while) so we were fairly confident they’d do well. Willy was actually very scared initially and we had to separate them briefly just to let them meet at the mesh again so that Willy could regain his confidence.

J.B., your one sentence says it all. He runs, he dances and makes a big leap of faith. And the neighbors don’t know what to make of him. George is a force to be reckoned with, making up for the time he was never allowed to truly be a chimp. Thanks, CSNW.

That young man has so much energy, no one can keep up with him! I love the tippy tappy portion of his displays, and I hope leaping from such heights doesn’t leave him with stress fractures! He even got Neggie up and about and out of bed!
Good to see him relaxed with Willy B–hopefully, it didn’t take too long to reach that point. He looks so tiny next to Willy B!

it is so good to see that being in that tiny enclosure in Bandon didnt permanently hurt his muscles.. i love getting to see him run and jump ! he didnt have that opportunity for years.. i dont know if his feet ever felt grass. Thank you for being his heroes and loving him so much!

What a great video ! It really is so beautiful there, such amazing views.
I’ve been hoping for a good meeting with Willy B. He could always use new friends.:revolving_hearts:
George’s displays are really fun to watch, he’s got some good dance moves !
And Negra just cracks me up, she’s like whatever George, I’ve got things to do.

Wow, George is really living it up. His joy and bravery are inspirational. As someone stuggling to overcome some adversity, this video has given me heart, and hope and reminded me of my own strength hidden deep inside.

This is what I love about CSNW, a glimpse into inspirational stories of hope, bravery, love and new beginnings.

Seeing the girls go giddy over George is something else! What an absolutely hoot! Seening Willy Gorilly with George was awesome. I’m so glad that interaction went well.

Good luck finding your strength within. George came from a bad situation and now he’s reaching for the sky. He is indeed an inspiration to us all.

Love George’s little tap dance. Can’t wait to see George outside with the other chimps in the future.

Janet, I totally agree with you. I had to watch that several times.

Young whippersnapper that! Goodness he ran circles around the little ladies on the left. Although I bet Missy would challenge George to a 100 yard dash and long jump. What I sight that would be

Ah Willy. I found myself so happy for them both. They seemed to hit it off really well!

Yikes, George is incredibly fast with all his moves!! I am glad you slowed down his leap off the top of the platform. Amazing strength and coordination and he looked so big doing it in Display Mode! (Reflecting back to an old post as to why chimpanzees do not make good pets. Thank you for the outside demo, George.) Poor Neggie. I just know she was thinking about how peaceful things used to be. Who is this wild young boy ruining the tranquility vibe?!

George makes great use of his feet, and hands, in his displays. It’s amazing how loud his foot stomps are. Happy to see he uses this to impress the neighbors and during his first play date he chose to share his silly sweet side with Willy B. George did seem a wee bit overwhelmed by Willy B’s friendship hug, but he handled it well for a beginner. 🙂

Georg is truly a gift from God meant to be a great teacher to all, especially to those who are burdened by challenges. He inspires us humans to be our better selves, to reach out and grab life with gusto and joy and not to let the past define you! He loves life and it is contageous! It is a beautiful thing to see! What a great blog!

Oh the joy to see George finally run, run and run! He had become shut down spending so much of his life in that horrible little cage. To now to have the chance to see his personality blossom and the opportunity to display his athleticism is amazing! Thank you CSNW for sharing his journey with us!

Well, ain’t that young Mr. George just somethin’ else entirely! What a joy to watch his energy and athleticism. Glad his time before this didn’t sap him of any of it.

Wow that is some dosplay! George is really finding his footing outside. Even Neggie had to come outside and see what the new guy was up to!
I am so glad to see George’s social circle expanding. That was a pretty epic play session with Willy B!
