Forage Friday

August 29, 2025 by Jenna

Today was a beautiful day in the PNW! George started out getting access to the Bray. He wandered outside for a few hours and even took a nap on one of the structures. J.B. snapped a bunch of photos of him! Here’s one down below as a sneak peek.

Around lunch, all the groups had a forage. Check out some forage photos below!

Neggie’s blowing you kisses, JB! There she goes, climbing again!
    Looks like a beautiful day!
And George joining the club of Bray nappers! Two members now! Wow!

Just incredible to hear that little George took a nap out on the bray. You’d think he resided at the sanctuary for years. He sure is adaptable to any situation, or so it appears. What a special boy.

Thanks for all the great pics! I think Queen Negra was inviting J.B. to join her up on the structure. 🙂

Nothing brings me more joy than seeing the Queen herself out and about enjoying the fantastic weather.
Looking at George now, you’d never know he’s only been at CSNW for a few months. It amazes me how quickly he’s settled in. I can’t wait to see him out there with the rest of Cy’s group foraging with new friends!

I justwant to say…forever I’ve thought that there couldn’t be a cuter chimp than Foxie. But George…he’s pretty cute. yep. pretty cute.

Don and I love to see Lucky and Ryan enjoying Ryan’s Lookout and can’t wait to see George on it. I have to admit that I am in love with him and his awesome personality. Think of all he has endured in his life. He arrived as a single chimp at the sanctuary and goes with the flow! what a guy!
