First in line

July 10, 2025 by Anna

Last week I found Rayne in the most blissed-out, comfortable spot at the sanctuary.

She had made a sweet soft nest on the perfect incline of the chute decking, catching the morning rays of sunshine.

To top it off, she had the perfect foot support from the closed door to the Bray.

Conveniently, being nested at the bottom of the chute next to the door, also means she was first in line to go outside that morning. Rayne is more than happy to lead the charge on any and all outdoor adventures!

oh wow what an ideal place to wake in the morning with the warmth of the sun and healthy morning blue light in your eyes. that’s a dream location! Gets you motivated and ready for that pre-breakfast first morning patrol. Just looking at her I can feel the warmth of the sun myself.

Just look at Rayne! The last two photos of her in the chute with her feet up are too perfect and too adorable. It’s hard to imagine a finer place to relax. Basking in the first warm sunny rays of the morning and perfectly positioned to be first out to hit the Bray. Brilliantly executed. Atta girl, Rayne! Thanks for sharing this sweet moment, Anna.

What wonderful photos…….. absolute bliss! This really is what snactuary is all about and Rayne is certainly enjoying it. To see this makes every bit of hard work, cleaning, fund raising etc so worthwhile. If only EVERY chimp from a previously bad situation could be that lucky!

Have to admit I’m a little jealous!!! That looks so comfy! Rayne knows how to relax, that’s for sure!
