Today we celebrated the arrival anniversary of the Lucky 6! Can you believe it’s been 4 years since the trailer transporting Lucky, Cy, Gordo, Rayne, Dora and Terry pulled into our driveway??

I think they were together. And I think they said Dora and Honey B seemed to recognize each other, the way they think Annie and Missy may have met before
They arrived as one cohesive group!
Happy Anniversary and a gorgeous way to celebrate with a picnic in the sunshine. Home Sweet Home. It was a sad day for the WWS volunteers saying goodbye to their remaining chimpanzees but at least they can rest assured that at CSNW their “babies” found a loving and caring forever home. Did any of the WWS volunteers visit CSNW?

The initial action at the mesh might be the most excited I ever seen Lucky and Co. I’m convinced they knew exactly what today’s celebration was all about and they were ready groom, dance, hoot, and rub toes to show their enthusiasm and appreciation!
