We’re currently experiencing another blustery day in Central Washington. Fortunately, the chimps have just the solution for escaping the wind but still enjoying the sunshine… The greenhouses of course!
Speaking of Central Washington, there are a couple of upcoming exciting chimp related events happening in our county this weekend!
Tomorrow, Central Washington University will be hosting several events honoring the legacy of Washoe Chimpanzee. Check out this link for more details!
For Saturday, CWU’s Primate Awareness Network has also organized the following opportunities (details below)!
Wish I could attend all of these events. I will instead honor Washoe (and Loulis, Tatu, Dar, and Moja) from afar. Would love to see the stained glass window of Washoe’s painting. Such a great idea!
Thanks, Anna, for the photos of the Greenhouse Groupies!
Those greenhouses look so cozy! It’s easy to see why the chimps love them so much,
I wish I lived nearby in Washington, but, alas, I am an ocean away!
Oh, those lucky students!
Thanks for the pics, Anba! I hope you guys all enjoy the extr hours outside of work!
