Willy B can be a really silly guy! For those who may not know, he is known for his two-step. Willy B really seems to enjoy when we stomp to a beat. I used to be a cheerleader a long long time ago, so I starting doing some of my cheer stomps for him, which he seems to like a lot. I’m assuming he does at least, because he will find me to start a game of chase. Willy’s chase also has a lot of stomping. Willy B doesn’t always need a beat to play to, but he does seem to respond well to it. In this video, you can even catch him stomping to his own beat! Boxes also make Willy B downright silly. He has been on a real box kick recently! As you will see in the video, Willy thinks it’s really funny to put a box on his head and shake it around.
Don’t forget today is the last day for GiveBIG!
Cheers, and help from the drumline!
Was that Ellen? Good drumming!
I hope Tiny Terry eventually got some live, it sounds like he wanted your attention.
Since they get Chopsticks to work raisin boards, maybe you could show him how to drum on a bucket!
Since Willy likes to intimidate Terry and Gordo, I wonder how he interacts with JB and Chad. Also, since he likes it when you stomp a beat, I wonder how he reacts to music. Maybe he would like the drum fill in In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins.
do you ever play music for the chimps?
We’ve asked before and they said the original 7 don’t seem to care much either way. (they play it sometimes while cleaning, and someone played for them live on the hill last year).
Kelsi, who wouldn’t be inspired by your cheerleading stomps and Ellen’s drum slapping! Even I felt inspired to join in. Willy B was really into the beat. Thanks for zooming in on his foot stomp.(Wow, his thighs are massive!) But the box on his head was the best. What a lovable knucklehead! I think he needs some bongo drums.
Willie B is the complete entertainer. I could watch him all day. I sure would like to know what goes on in his head.
