I pity the fool…who doesn’t adore our very own Mr. T(erry)!
Terry has gotten a lot of attention on the blog lately, and today is no different. Everything they say about Terry is true! He is a gentle giant. Such a sweet big ole’ meatball of a guy! He’s a raspberry blowin’, hand lickin’, boot spittin’, coat scritchin’, chase playin’, elbow groomin’, Romaine crunchin’ friend to all!
If you don’t already adore Mr. T, what the heck are you waiting for?
Take a moment to spend some time with Terry and a couple of heads of Romaine lettuce and you’ll be sure to fall head over heels!
Neil Diamond sang it best for sweet face Terry with “Beautiful Noise.” Excuse me, I’m going make a fresh, crunchy salad.

I never would have thought that watching a chimpanzee eat lettuce would make my day, but it did.

It was Neggie who taught me that lettuce really is enjoyable, but Terry is the shining example of HOW to eat it. First, you hold it very elegantly, then those mouth movements and his gorgeous lips take over. At one point, be closes those beautiful eyes tight for a moment as if he’s in chimp heaven with his delicious lettuces, and to convince us mere mortals that lettuce is a sublime treat. Salad for tea, then!!
If I had to promote plant-base diet, I would choose Terry(bly delicious Romaine) as the face of the campaign!:monkey_face::salad::green_heart:

Whenever things get a bit “complicated” here I can always count on CSNW residents and bloggers to put a big smile on my face! This edition joins the “classics” as it shares the “simple” but immense joys of crunching! Thank you all….and PS. That is mighty good looking lettuce…only the best for the residents, as it should be.
Sweet Terry. Be still my beating heart. I never thought I would say that seeing (and hearing) a chimpanzee thoroughly enjoying a big head of organic Romain lettuce is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen….but that was sublime. And yes, when Terry held his eyes shut for a wee second or two longer, I felt this little tingle rush over me. He looked so very satisfied.
Thanks Krissy, for giving us this little moment of joy. And thanks for always giving Terry and Co. the best produce ever!
Terry has the most beautiful eyes, and he is really enjoying that lettuce! I love it when it looks like he smushes up his face at one point, perhaps in sheer pleasure of the crunch.
His entire face has movement as he crunches! Perfect little piece of entertainment.
