Snug as a Bug

December 11, 2024 by Kelsi

Thank you Diana G. for the wearable nesting blanket! The blanket hoodie is so cute, the front is Honey B and the back has a picture of Negra. We thought it was only fitting for Honey B to receive this wonderful hoodie first. Before giving Honey B the hoodie, we showed her that it was more than just a blanket, but that you could wear it too! She seemed pretty excited. Honey B didn’t put it on, but she did nest with it right away.

Gordo playing chase and inspecting the hoodie:

Bonus of little Honey B:

Is she looking skinnier and more banged up than usual?

Maybe it’s the angle of the photo, but the top photo made me think she looked thinner, too. But they keep an eye on their weight, so it’s probably just us.

Just what I was thinking……quite a few war wounds and that eye still looks sore. I hope it’s just the camera angle too…..I know it’s a normal part of their lives but we all worry about them.

Oh Honey B, please put that hood on your head and wrap yourself up in comfort and style! That looks very plush and warm. And Gordo looks pretty pleased, too. All thanks going to you, Diana G.!

But if she wraps up in it only up to her waist, now you will have TWO Honey Bs staring back at you, feeding on your souls!

Honey B appears to be a little beat up to me too. Is that wound or scab above her eye the same one she had some time ago? I’ve missed seeing Honey, she must be behaving herself. I would love to see her in the blanket hoodie too.

    Hey Kelsi,
Thank you for the blog, and I also look at Honey B with a little worry in my heart.
How is the reintroduction going?, who is where and who is in the group that is getting smaller and smaller? Is it just Honey B, Gordo and Mave?
And for the last introduction I assume you bring them all together and not leave 1 or 2 behind?
