I Spy

December 14, 2024 by Sabrina

Over the past few months, I’ve noticed an interesting behavior from Willy B. He often sits by a window in one of his front rooms, where he appears to be watching the camera monitor that shows his group’s activities.
At first, I wasn’t completely sure about his intentions. But recently, during a morning conflict within his group, his behavior confirmed my suspicions. When a commotion started, Willy B checked several windows, trying to get a direct view of the situation. After a minute of searching, he settled in his usual spot – right by the window that overlooks the hallway’s camera monitor.
This incident has convinced me that Willy B is deliberately using the cameras to monitor his group throughout the day. He’s found a clever way to keep track of everyone’s activities, even when they’re not directly in his line of sight.
I was able to capture this in a couple short video clips for today’s video in addition to an exciting play session between Gordo and Honey B, which seems to becoming a daily occurrence.

I want to give a big thank you to Kathleen C. for her winning bid on the Jamie & Her Boot throw for the chimps and to Tammi F for winning the hooded moose blanket! Jamie’s group received both items today and while we didn’t get any photos of them interacting with these blankets yet we hope to see them in some nests tomorrow morning!

Sabrina, that is the best! V smart! I think I saw Beezus scanning it at the end, too!

Gordito laughs so loud! As loudly as Burrito! Imagine the two together!

I think Willy B is quite the smarty pants when he wants to be! He definitely knows what he’s doing, that’s for sure. I’m sure Burrito would also appreciate a surveliance feed into the other group’s side. 😉
So great to see Honey B and Gordo enjoying a nice play session! They were really going at it! I don’t think I’ve seen them play too much before, I suppose this re-integration has helped to strengthen their relationship?

      I think that’s a side benefit!

Very clever of Willy B! Proving he is not just another handsome face. There’s a lot going on inside his noggin!

Gordy B! The new BFF’s. That’s a fun play session and the expression on Gordo’s face when he jumped into his was priceless.

I hope to see a boot and book filled nest topped off and tied to the mesh with this gorgeous Jamie blanket! But wait, I also want to see Jamie snuggled in the middle. Wouldn’t that be perfect?!

Since you are sharing all the Comfort & Joy gift giving with us, I want to say “Thank you” to the CSNW elves who designed, printed, packaged, and shipped the goodies I received today. The 2025 wall calendar is, as always, full of incredible photos. And, I LOVE your Collectible Trading Cards! (“Responsibly printed with carbon negative ink because you care”! And it shows. You think of everything.) Please put me on the list for the next drop date!! I have no photos to share so you’ll have to trust me when I say each one of my goodies brought me joy.

Burrito is quite clever to think of watching the camera monitor and I was so happy to see my girl Honey B having a good time playing with Gordo. I was a little worried about her but she seems to have plenty of energy and was enjoying his company. I will worry no more.
I received my calendar today also and love it.
