Nowhere to Hide

November 11, 2024 by J.B.

There’s a drive-up window in Burrito’s playroom where he can order up play partners any time he wants. Even if no one is in the kitchen we’ll catch a glimpse of him on the security monitor, so he knows we won’t leave him waiting long. It certainly makes getting things done difficult at times but what could be more important that keeping Bubba entertained?

As I followed him out to the hill, I was happy to see Honey B and Terry hanging out together on the Bray—and even happier to catch Terry doing not one but two of his patented gorilla displays! He was really feeling his oats this afternoon. As he should, now that he is the (temporary) dominant male in his group.

Have you checked on our Comfort & Joy Online Auction lately? You can pick up some cool stuff for yourself or bid on items that we can give to the chimps and cows, like this cool Easy Swing Cow Brush!

Oh, Terry’s exuberant gorilla display! I didn’t know he did that, but now he’s my new favorite!

Yeah, all signs are pointing to Terry’s operation didn’t “take”

JB, I absolutely loved hearing that bit of Burrito laughing near the end, when he faked you out! That was awesome

I think you could have a position, which would be split with another job there, where one person’s job is to play with Burrito for half the day. One person could do it in the morning, and then somebody else would rotate in in the afternoon so that the first person doesn’t get exhausted.

Good to see most everyone out and about

If that ever becomes a job, where do I apply?! As a matter of fact, I might pay CSNW to take it on!

        Get in line!

:wink::laughing:Does Burrito ever sleep?! If he does, I’m willing to bet he’s laughing and playing in his dreams.

Burrito gives you quite the work out! Plus, the chimps always have the “inside advantage”. When playing chase, Burrito has a more direct route inside his enclosure while you have more turns, or so it seems. By the time you get to one end, Bubs is halfway back to the staring point. It cracks me up! He definitely knows he is funny and irresistible! And fast!

I hadn’t even thought about the existing group regarding who was filling in as substitute leader while Cy was away! Oh Terry, he sure seemed mighty to me until I saw Foxie checking him out. Foxie looked totally unimpressed!

I assume the rest of the group can still hear or smell Cy, Willy B and Rayne ao they’re not left wondering what happened to them?

I think they said in the last couple of videos, where they discussed the separation that they can see each other through the windows

Yes, they are only separated by a mesh divider wall so they can still freely interact with one another.
