Regal is a word that often comes to mind when I think of Negra. Negra’s presence exudes a quiet power that captivates everyone who meets her. She is not only respected among her group, but she is a symbol of strength, resilience, and grace. Negra may not be the the loudest or most active person in her group, however she is valued for her wisdom and calm demeanor. She has truly earned her title as Queen within her family. No matter how Negra decides to spend her day- nestled in a warm nest built of so many blankets you can barely see her, sitting in the warm sun on Young’s Hill, or simply enjoying a bag of chow, it is all done with the luxury and elegance she deserves.

Ive wondered if Neggie would be able to figure out a ‘snood’ (hat with attached scarf). The snuggy looks more complex. I hope she likes it!

Maybe the people there could show Neggie first how to wear the items that you spoke about.
I think she is intelligent enough to get it right?
I’m gonna do something for them during the holidays. I try to when i can. They deserve so much for all they have gone through in their past life.
Thank You all at NW Sanctuary :sparkling_heart: your amazing :clap_tone3:

Kelsi, I just loved your description of Neggie. The perfect way to end the week—admiring Negra. Negra is majestic. The photos sum her up. I especially love the first photo from the portrait studio and the very last photo.

I love all of these pictures of Negra, they capture her perfectly!

I agree with Kathleen: these photographs capture the beauty of Negra. Indeed, both the very first picture, where Neggie is sitting amidst the spring grass, and the last photo, brought a tear of joy as I viewed them.
If I am not mistaken, that first photograph was taken in May 2023. I can only speculate what Neggie is thinking as she looks off in the distance towards the mountains and the sky…and, perhaps, the presence of someone she loved and loves…

All hail to The Queen! Negra always exudes such dignity and grace, it’s easy to see why she’s earned royal status. Something about her just puts those around her at ease… It’s nice to be able to levy a little royal tax every now and again, too… 😉
