Scenes from a Thursday Morning

October 3, 2024 by J.B.

Jamie inspecting the garden progress, Burrito tiptoeing through the tall grass, Rayne practicing her acrobatics, Dora all packaged and ready to ship, and the chimps enjoying the box that the enrichment came in—just another Thursday morning at the sanctuary.

The tall grass is still lava, huh, Rayne?
JB, seems like you guys had a quiet wildfire season this year (I trust it’s late enough that I wont jinx you buy putting that out there!)

I can pull myself upwards along a fire hose while hanging upside down just like Rayne… hahaha… i wish!
    Impressive Rayne!

Inspector Jamie looked a little bit chilly out there but, clearly determined, she stuck with her responsibilities! Burrito (and Annie) would like to rent out the Moo Crew to munch that tall prickly grass, just for a day. Rayne has mastered the art of staying off the grass. Well done! What a view!!! It’s the perfect reward for making the climb! And it was so nice to see Mave being somersault silly over her play with Rayne and goofball funny with Terry. Cardboard boxes clearly brings out funny side of Mave!

Last but far from least, The Memorial Garden fits perfectly within everything…Sigh.

G.I. (Garden Inspector) James clearly takes her duties very seriously. Any new construction must be thoroughly supervised. Annie, Missy, and Foxie were too busy enjoying the mountain scenery to attend to their duties as assistant inspectors!
Burrito really will never get used to that tall grass, huh? I have to admit, his sneer face makes me laugh.
Rayine displayed some excellent athleticism, but she still has a bit to go before she’s able to master the fire hose like Jamie and Missy!
Also watching Mave, Rayne, and Terry be goofballs is just the cutest! For once it’s Dora who just wants to chill instead of Mave!

Looked like Terry was trying to wrap an early Christmas present to Dora, love those raspberries!
Rayne is amazing on the fire hose.

Thank you for putting the 5th discussion on ‘Chimp Crazy’ on YT! I hope many people will watch them, they’re really interesting!
