Happy Jamieween!

October 31, 2024 by J.B.

It was a day filled with boots, books, food, friends, and long walks with rag dolls come to life—a chilly but otherwise perfectly spooky day to celebrate the birth of our favorite now-47-year-old trickster, Jamie.

Happy Jamieween, everyone! Can you guess who the pumpkin thief was this year?

Don’t forget that today is the last day for you to vote for our 2025 CSNW Calendar Cover Photo! Voting ends at 11:59pm PT tonight—be sure to click here to vote for your favorite!

Jamieween also means that our annual Comfort & Joy Quid Pro Throw online auction is LIVE! Register for the auction and you will be invited to join us on November 6th for a live zoom event of Lucky’s birthday event! Place bids on one-of-a-kind items for yourself (or a loved one- who says it’s too early for holiday shopping?) AND bid on items to gift the chimps! The event will run through November 20th and we will be adding new items throughout, so be sure to keep checking back. Happy bidding!

Happy Jamieween to the coolest, smartest, most amazing lady around!!! Looks like everyone had a blast! Jamie seemed to appreciate the costume. Was that her going for a walk/run with Raggedy Erin?
I love seeing how everyone celebrates. Neggie with the nice catch, Foxie with the mouth full of forage, Cy with the armload of goodies… It’s great!

      Jennifer,

In the Land of Oz, do you have Hallowe’en? Or, since your Springtime is in flower, does another holiday take precedence? Just curious…

Dr Erin, you’re too much fun!
Definitely a one of a kind walk!
I wondered why Honey B was so excited over lunch, I thought she was going to back Lucky into a corner! Then I saw the pasta and I understood why:smile:

I also forgot to say that I appreciate the added production value this time! From the spooky scene at the beginning, to the scream, to Neggie’s catching the bag.

Aargh!! This is like cruel and unusual punishment! I can’t figure out who the Great Pumpkin Thief was! (However, I really enjoyed the scream at the beginning!) If only Annie didn’t dislike the dry crunchy grass, I think she was ready to be this years thief but she quickly retreated back to the party. Please tell me Neggie won the pumpkin prize.

Happy Birthday and Happy Jamieween to one of the most fantabulous people I know! Turning 47 looks like a ton of fun! Boots for days!!! And a private walk with Raggedy Erin!! Everyone enjoyed the festivities. Thanks for making this day as fun for us as it is for the chimps.

I’m sure they all got some pumpkin, but we all know Neggie isn’t gonna do the work .

Not Annie’s bedhead or Annie’s hands. At first I was going to say Burrito, he of the scream, but I’m wondering if it’s not Missy. The floof says Burrito, the hair says Missy or Foxie. I Can’t See The Ears! aaagh!
(how sweet was Neggie’s kiss, though? I swear I don’t know how she stays that size. Except I do :disappointed:)
