Five Facts about Terry

October 24, 2024 by Anna

1) Terry is an all around good guy. He’s loyal and easy going. He’s a popular grooming partner in his group and a popular chase partner with his caregivers.

2) Terry’s eating habits are also easygoing. He’s not a picky guy!

3) Terry likes to lick the back of our hands, instead of the traditional “chimp kiss.”

4) Terry loves to explore the Bray! We often find him heading out for adventures, both alone and with his friends.

5) Terry is a unique guy with a fluffy exterior and a freckled face. Jenna just pointed out to me he’s also shaped like a “C.”

PS! There’s still time to vote for the 2025 CSNW Calendar cover photo!

I know we all have our “favourite” chimps ( I’m Annie’s pal), but it’s good to learn new personality aspects concerning each and every chimp at CSNW. Terry is a very interesting guy bursting with fun….he’s also one handsome dude!

Love my pal Terry!! But I love all of them. How could you not.

Fact # 5.1, as explained by a 4-year-old who follows the CSNW blog: “He’s too big to sit on just a teeny, tiny block!”

Fact #6: Terry is thoughtful and considerate of his friends, as demonstrated by his attention to the skin moisturizing regimen of his friend Raynie by licking the cocoanut oil off of her forehead, thus applying moisture to the affected area.

Terry seems to be a sweet guy. Wonderful seeing him happy, healthy, appreciated by his friends, and finding pleasure out and about on the beautiful Bray! I love his trademark “kiss”!

Terry is such a lovable handsome ball of freckles and floof! Sitting in his “c” pose, he really looks so much like his half sister Mave!

I saw someone in the video that saved The Chimps did for their September birthdays who reminded me an awful lot of Honey B, but I can’t remember now who it was

I know that Maude over at Center for Great Apes was also born at LEMSIP and she looks A LOT like Honey B. She also doesn’t like to shift. I suspect her father was Herbie, although her page doesn’t say. Seriously, she’s the spitting image. Maude was also a WW chimp.
