Morning’s on Young’s Hill

April 20, 2024 by Sabrina

Burrito’s group of six have been loving their early morning excursions out onto Young’s Hill. In today’s video most of the group goes on a patrol of parts of the hill while Negra hunkers down to enjoy some grassy snacks.

Negra enjoying the early morning out on Young’s Hill:

And later she indulged in a little grass forage:

It’ll warm up soon enough, Neggie!

    Thanks, Sabrina!
Was it the light, or is Bubba losing some of his pélage?

What a great start to the day up on Young’s Hill and that glorious spring sunshine! A joy to watch Annie along with Burrito and company having fun out there. I thought the tug of war with the towel hilarious; simple games but so much enjoyment. You guys have the best job in the world! Thanks for sharing.

What a glorious morning on Young’s Hill! Sunny enough to beckon Negra out to bask, face first, in the sun. Everyone out and about. Did Annie stop across from Jody’s garden? It looked as if she stopped, faced the trees and shared a thought with Jody. And her BFF zooming full tilt boogie but constantly checking back to see where the Boss is. I also love the way all the chimps look so small when exploring outside.

Thanks for letting sit close to goofball Burrito while you guys played tug. And a special thanks for zooming in on beautiful, quiet Annie waiting in the runway.

I love seeing everyone out and enjoying the hill. Seems like Missy wanted to run with the Boss, but Jamie got distracted by something else. I wonder what?
Of course, Burrito is his usual crazy self. I love seeing him play.

Jamie takes patrol very seriously: “One does not merely run and play when on patrol.”
And Missy can’t resist a downhill slope!
