The Very Giant Caterpillar

December 18, 2023 by Grace

We’re continuing the trend of giving the chimps items our supporters donated to us during our Comfort & Joy online auction! Today, we celebrated with a very giant, very squishy, multi-colored caterpillar. I mean, how fun is that?!

I didn’t get a chance to snag much footage today, but Cy started out his morning grooming the caterpillar as I held it on the other side of the caging. Then it went over to Negra and her crew… check out today’s video for more!

A special Thank YOU to Diana K. for donating the Multi-Colored Caterpillar!

With Christmas right around the corner, don’t forget that you can help us celebrate with the chimps by donating items off of our Amazon Wish-List! See more by clicking here. 🙂

Grace, are we sure Neggie was kissing it and not tasting it? You know, caterpillars, frogs…..

Just had to chuckle in seeing her dragging the caterpillar around for her nest! What personalities these chimp folks have! I can just hear Jamie saying “Yeah, you think it’s charming, eh? Well, just get out of my way!! I have important business to attend to and I don’t care how charming you think I am!!! Now send me more stuff!!!” What a role model she is for strength of resolve, personality and perseverance!

Sweet Negra, offering her kisses to the new creature. Nice to see Jamie including it her nest of favorite things. CSNW has the best supporters/donors, I know the chimps agree.

Willy B has a James Dean thing going on in this photo. It’s all in the hair. And Terry blowing raspberries is just what I think of when I think of him. Thanks Grace!

Goodness Terry looks like he’s been put through the ringer! I’m used to admiring his perfect mane. Maybe he had a wild night!
