This afternoon as I type, volunteer Dusty is hard at work wrapping presents for Monday’s big Christmas celebration, Jenna is going through box after box of fresh gifts and Kelsi is ordering the produce for the menu. Throwing a Christmas party for chimpanzees is definitely a team effort!
We’re continuing our thank you series from our Comfort and Joy Auction. Today we put out this sweet rainbow stuffed guy and Jamie incorporated it into her nest right next to her Boot Barn catalogue.

Speaking of nests, this troll blanket was donated during the auction by former staff member Sofia and she conveniently got one for herself as part of “Quid Pro Throw.”

It looks like Santa’s workshop with everyone so busy. I’m getting excited for them! Thank you, all of you busy elves, for working so hard (especially during this busy time of year) to ensure the chimps have a special celebration.

Looks like this Christmas’s preparations are going well.
Looking at the presents being wrapped, looks like there’s another tool box for Jamie? That lady loves her tools. I also love seeing her cozy winter nests. Complete with the latest in boot fashion catalogs. She certainly stays on top of the latest footwear trends.
Of course, lovely photos of little Gordito, too! He’s just got a very cute face.
