Can’t think of finer way to honor someone than taking in the images of these amazing female residents. Beautiful.

I am always moved by sponsorships “In Memory Of” someone. Heartwarming indeed. In sponsoring the chimps and bovines, all of us stop to enjoy our connections to these beautiful chimp people. We also, quietly, thank the supporter and say the name of person they honor — these are people we do not know, but we feel a small connection towards because the sanctuary has brought us all together.

I couldn’t have put it better, Kathleen, and it certainly is a beautiful and touching way to remember a loved one – and gives a great sense of connection. Bless you, marc.

Kathleen, thank you for beautifully capturing the emotions we feel when reading the “In memory of” posts. It’s why I chose to remember my mom in this fashion, and will continue to do so in the coming years. She’d love seeing the beautiful chimps in her post and reading the comments of the kind supporters. Thank you – marc

The close up photos are great. They are somewhat easy to identify when one can see their full face. Thank you Marc Wilson!

The close-ups, face on the camera, are my favorites. Adorable to see their expressions and the freckles above their mouths!
