Radicchio!

September 21, 2023 by Anna

Today was a beautiful day for a forage on Young’s Hill. We put out pears, tomatoes, sweet potatoes and peppers, but there was one exciting highlight to the meal: radicchio! This purple leafy veggie comes in its own perfect chimp size portions. Annie and Burrito in particular made the most of the radicchio bonanza!

Burrito collected his lunch and dined al fresco on a log:

Annie took her forage bounty back to the safety of the greenhouse:

I thought about Jody, too. I wonder if she’s sending her foraging energy to Annie?

Was she gathered at Jody’s resting place the other day, recharging her foraging battery!? 🙂

Looks like a beautiful summer day! Radicchio IS the perfect chimp size, especially when you’re gathering on the move, so funny. It appears Farmer Jo lives on in her family, especially in Annie today.

She was smart, and left the Boss’s favorites alone. So Boss won’t steal from her
