Chimp Chatter

September 28, 2023 by Jenna

This morning at breakfast, Foxie was pounding on the caging, attempting to get volunteer caregiver Dusty’s attention and I had the idea to record sounds for the blog today. Many blogs have been done before this one under the same premise, however, I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

I switched it up and made it a game! Try to guess who is making that sound and the answer is revealed in the next clip!

That was enjoyable to hear. The chimpsters sound as if they are enjoying their breakfast and lunch service, which is to say, that they sound happy.

Thank you for the educational and fun video ! You really hear things differently without a visual.
Because I went to Hoot, I was going to guess J.B. on the pant hoot.

CeeCee, I was thinking the same thing about J.B. and his Pant Hoot. It’s one of the reasons I enjoy going to the Hoot. He’s a natural.

I agree with CeeCee! Without the visual I was hearing so many things. Have to ask, what was Foxie all worked up about?! That was a big big build up to her hoot!

That was fun, Jenna! I’m quite tuned in to Bubba’s many noises by now, but I would never have guessed that little Foxie was a leading player. They never fail to surprise us!

I did better on the new side than I would have thought! I missed Jamie playing in the water, Terry chewing, and Dora greeting Cy. Beezus, like Jamie, has such a distinctive grunt!

Btw, is Li’l Dora taking staring lessons from Honey B!?

anytime you see Dora staring like this, just know shes staring at her reflection. SHE LOVES IT :joy:

Ooohhhh! THAT explains it! Something in common with Willy B and Bubba! I mean, she is a cutie, so…

Forgot to say thanks for the fun game, Jenna! I’ve been waiting for this one!

Lol Not one did I get right, but it was a lot of fun. Thanks for this Jenna!
