CWU Graduation Day!

June 10, 2023 by Katelyn

Many thanks to Dr. April Binder of Central Washington University for sponsoring a day of sanctuary for the chimpanzees in celebration of all the individuals who are graduating today!

“Congratulations to all BS/MS graduates in the Primate Behavior programs from CWU!”

We are so thankful to all the CWU graduates who have contributed in so many ways to improving the lives of the chimpanzees who call the sanctuary home and we appreciate their hard work! Not only for the chimpanzees, but for all the beings they will make a difference in the lives of as they move forward to their next chapters and adventures.

Congratulations, everyone!! We’re so proud of you and wish you all the good things!

Congratulations graduates!! Climb high like Missy. Explore and discover like Rayne. Always enjoy your life like Burrito. And never stop learning like Cy!

Kathleen, I love your sentiment to the new grads! So well stated!! Thanks to you and to the new grads. I find it so heartwarming to know that there are still people in grad school programs who are focused on real life and living beings and not only tech.
