New Spring

April 4, 2023 by Chad de Bree

Spring is known as a time for new beginnings. Though there aren’t any new beginnings, per se, there are some new things that have been seen around the Chimp House. Be sure to watch the video!

Also, here are some photos from today!

Gordo in the Riverview Greenhouse

Missy during a forage on Young’s Hill

Jamie and Burrito on Young’s Hill

Annie eating her bounty from the forage (note the pin headband in her pelvic pocket)

Annie and Missy watching as a raven collects the scraps left on Young’s Hill

That ghost was too easy to finger, Chad! The block gave it away!

I can’t tell if Cy is more interested in the clothing styles, the colors, or the ladies, but fashion seems to be his thing!

And Dora and Mave! ugh! We just can’t anymore with the cuteness!

Ah, nice to see that the residents (and, presumably, their human employees) are covered by a dental plan. I assume that Dr. Willy B. is renowned for his painless dentistry.

It appears to be greening up in a hurry……….I am looking forward to the opening of the new outdoors….when they are outside at the same time, it could get very mouthy……..:relieved:

Perfect gift for Cy, and he spotted it instantly amongst all the stuff in the room! What a fun grouping of clips. Mora together in a nighttime nest. And the photo of Jamie and her new buddy Burrito made me wonder what those two were plotting. Thanks, Chad, your post was the perfect ending to my day!

I love watching Cy perusing his reading material!

I’m curious if anyone has ever reached out to the magazines that Cy and Jamie seem to enjoy the most to see if they would be willing to donate issues to CSNW for the chimps? I would imagine they could write it off as a charitable donation and would also help ensure that a continuous supply of People, Us, National Geographic, etc comes to the Chimp Houses regularly.
