Mischief Managed

April 19, 2023 by Kelsi

When I describe my job to people, I usually say “There is never a dull day.” Well today that was very true! Jamie decided to have a laid back day, no projects, just play and nesting. I felt so lucky to capture this play session of Jamie and Foxie, even if every once in a while Jamie would remind me to get lost! Burrito may not have been invited either, but don’t worry Foxie made sure he wasn’t left out! However, Honey B seemed like she had plans from the get-go this morning, as you will see in the video. We have what we call “privacy panels” between the playrooms and greenhouses. They were installed for when the groups were separated so they could have, you know, privacy. Even after the group became nine we left them up just in case, we didn’t want to jinx anything! Honey B decided this morning the greenhouse panels needed to go and so they did, at the hands of Honey B :). As a disclaimer- no chimps were hurt and we quickly closed off the greenhouse so that JB and his new handy man Adam could safely remove the rest of them.

Please enjoy this series of photos of Burrito in the sandbox:

This is one of the best videos so far this year! Interpretative modern dance from Foxie and Jamie, and from Beezie and Dora, a reenactment of the tearing down of the Berlin Wall.

Oh, and those photographs of Bubba…pure beauty!

And I’ll bet (I hope) it’s never the same day twice, Kelsi! Those are the best kind of jobs!

She is indeed a Mistress of Destruction, a Doctor of Demolition….

I love Bubba’s peekaboo pic, too!

Who started the pant hoot, Kelsi, and why do you think she bolted? Did someone scare her?

Honey B!!! I remember the days when I would marvel over her skateboard moves. This! This was a whole new level, beyond the hose heist, beyond belief (well…almost, since it is Honey B ). All I can say is thank goodness the windows are bulletproof. As for the rest of Honey B’s home, it’s all up for grabs now.

Jamie was having fun. Poor little Foxie was getting her head pummeled. It looked as if she was grimacing at one point. But Silly Jamie was all smiles.

These photos of Burrito are simply delicious! Oh Burrito.

Honey B never lets me down. The way she handled that panel are you sure there isn’t some kind of job she could assist with when you start work again on the Bray? I love that woman, never a dull moment with her.

Honey B sure has a way of expressing herself, lol. No question as to what she wanted!

Love Bubba’s photo montage – such a unique vantage point.

Loved the dance on the head bit between Foxie and jamie –I didn’t expect the thud and jumped when the panel came down. Boy it sure isn’t a dull moment there. You people are the hardest working people I know. Picking up all those magazine pages scattered all over was just one more chore to add to your daily clean up.
