What a fun party! I love watching as they negotiate coconuts, some going with the slamming-on-the-ground routine, some picking away or going for the big bite to separate it into pieces. Thanks for sharing these events of the day…

I am beginning to think that the way to the chimps hearts is through their stomachs, as long as you’re serving coconuts!! I loved Negra’s slow scooch up to the coconut and then she shot something out of her mouth to make room for her favorite treat! She’s too much. Same goes for Willy B. He totally scored on that plate full of veggies. Willy was so polite in his approach to the plate. And he never disappoints with his skillful technique to access the best part of the coconut.
What a wonderful celebration. Thank you everyone (and that includes J.B. and Chad too!).
