I have always had trouble distinguishing the three sisters from each other (well not so much Honey B).
I dont know if this has been mentioned before, but from these “fall in love” clips I have worked it out as follows –
Hoeny B ( alphabetically 1st) has 1 crease in her nose, Lucky (alphabetically 2nd) has two creases in her nose, and Rayne (alphabetically 3rd) has 3 creases in her nose!
Linda C says
That works out perfectly, except we can’t always see their noses! I have the same problem, and I will keep trying to distinguish between lucky and Rayne by their hair
Linda C says
Thank you, JB. these are over too soon!

Rayne is such a beautiful, loving, creative girl and what a great friend. She has amazing fashion ideas and who doesn’t wish they could wear a headband as a belt!!! Such a delight to have these videos to appreciate these folks and those who care for them.

Oh, these are just wonderful pics and videos! I adore watching Rayne put on the red headband around her waist. What a fashionista! I wonder where she originally got the idea — maybe from seeing Missy with hers when outside? These daily postings are a highlight of my every day — thank you to all who make them happen!

Thank you, thank you. I have fallen in love with this Fall in Love series. i coukd absolutely not pick a favorite, so I rewatch them all. I am still fascinated by the waist band wearing of head bands and also a little bit jealous.

I fell in love with these six chimpertarians when I learned that they were coming to live at the Sanctuary. Even so, I have thoroughly enjoyed this six-part series. What absolutely endearing people they are…at least when the Gang of Nine isn’t embroiled in a melee. Fortunately, Rayne, Lucky, et al, appear to be well-practiced in Art and Science of Restorative Grooming to re-establish domestic tranquility.
Gaynell says
Please put that on a plaque and send it to the US House of Representatives.

Another BFF sibling combo—Rayne and Honey B. Fun to see siblings and half siblings becoming best friends. Rayne seems to be a sweet (stylish!) character.
The chimps are all so very different and yet, so similar too! Thank you for the Fall in Love videos.

Hello, first of all, thank you, thank you, thank you for all the wonderful videos of the chimps, i really have loved them all, and i cant puck out which obevi loved best as i loved tgem all equaly. Can i ask what are the chimps routines, eg: waking up, meals, lights out, also does someobe stay overnight with them all? I am just curious if they like routines like humans do and if they get a bit miffed if they change. But thank again for the fantastic videos.

Hi Jane! They typically start waking up around 5am. Some of the males begin to display at this time and get everyone riled up. Usually the go back to bed after the first round of displaying, and then get up again by 7am. Meals are at ~9am, ~12pm, and ~3:30pm (we shift the schedule by an hour to comensate for daylight saving time), with snacks and food puzzles in between. Lights are usually out by 4:30 and the tend to make their nests for the night as soon as the last of the food is given out. We don’t stay with them overnight but we have caregivers on site that monitor them via a security camera system. They do like routine, but with some novelty mixed in. You never want them to wonder when their next meal is coming but you also want to give them some surprises.
