Follow Burrito to find out what’s happening today

September 24, 2022 by Diana

It was simply a gorgeous early autumn day today. A perfect day for J.B. to lead a big crew of volunteers. It’s so exciting to see the new outdoor habitats coming together, including trees that were recently planted and transplanted bamboo on both sides!

I was sitting with Gordo yesterday while he was gazing at his side of the hill, The Bray. I think he knows it’s for him and his friends.

Jamie and crew definitely know they will be getting a new space, and they have been watching with great interest.

Well, at least some of them have. Jody had other priorities when I was filming today.

That’s so exciting, Diana! I wish I could have been there to lend a other hand.
Do you think the 9 will get access to their space before the first snow? I wonder if Willy B will lead the rest out the door, and if peer pressure will get Mave and Beezus out.

I’m really curious to see if the 7 will be as excited with the shifted space as they were the first time they went out. It looks like everyone is on tenterhooks! Except Jo, of course. No one can nest like Jo…

Oh, and that’s the music that I always think of as “Burrito’s music”. In addition to the favorite Thanksgiving video, you must have used it with Burrito video. Even when others use it, it makes me rhink of him.

Thanks for sharing these shots and the ongoing developing outdoor expansion. It’s so exciting to think that soon we’ll be seeing the new group out & about, as they’re willing to venture forth. Willy B never did go out much beyond the shoot but I do recall him taking a nap by himself at the top of one of the structures outside. Such a brave guy! I wonder who will lead the pack! Very exciting stuff coming their way, for both groups. So many doohickies, as Tom said.

Can’t wait to see how the Lucky 6+ take to their new outdoor spaces, I’m looking to my fave, Willy B to lead the way I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to make it to HOOT! I have it on my calendar for next year, when I’m sure there will be even more to celebrate.

Wow!! Can’t believe the swift progression from fence posts going in to all this! Bravo! And a big thank you to all the hardworking volunteers. Honestly, what I would give to assist in this process in some capacity.

Jody, unphased by it all, resting with browse at her side. Good to know some things remain the same.

Burrito and his crew must be so excited. And Cy and the gang must be bursting with curiosity. I imagine they have butterflies in their stomachs now and then as they look out on all changes rapidly occurring before them.
