July 19, 2022 by Chad de Bree

Today we celebrate Gordo’s 34th birthday! You’re not going to want to miss the video from today’s celebration! There are berries boxes, and bounces!

We would also like to thank Paulette Wrisley for being the second sponsor for today in honor of Gordo Chimpanzee, and followers Tom Austin and Dan Oksiuta! Thank you so much Paulette for sponsoring today in honor of these three amazing individuals! And happy birthday Tom and Dan! We hope you were able to celebrate today and had as much fun as Gordo did!

Here are some bonus photos from today’s celebrations!

What a great party!* I hope that Gordo enjoyed the boxes as much as his friends (and this viewer) did. I am glad that over the past year that he has found such a good new friend in Mave. I so hope that that the coming year may provide Senor Gordito muchas ocasiones por conejo saltaldo (ya know, hopping about in a manner evocative of a legamorphic rodent).

*(Notwithstanding some property disputes regarding the Boss’s duly alloted portions)

      Salt(it)os de conejo.

Probably just saltitos. Unless you’re talking about the dance. Then it’s “el baile de conejo”

I stand corrected. I have often asked myself: Am I illiterate? I don’t even know what that word means…

Sorry, wasn’t meant as a correction, just trying to help

Love it! Neggie went straight for it!
Pineapple! yum! And oatmeal, good to the last drop!
I see Willy and Jamie have much in common: “dees one is mine, and dees one is mine…” I hope dear Annie got some porridge of her own!
Chad thanks for making us such a deliciously long video, and for including both houses for us. We like seeing our geriatric friends, too.
Paulette, thanks again for being the fairy godmother!
Amd happy birthday to Dan and Tom! You still have a few hours left! Go celebrate some more!

Ha haaa! That was fun! Boxes in every shape and size! (Willy B preferred the pink wrapping, so funny) Great food! It appears the pineapple top is not the coveted item for Gordo’s group like it is for The Seven. But everyone clearly loves berries, loaded on oatmeal and floating in the tubs.

Happy Birthday Dear Gordo. What a fabulous party you had. I’m thrilled your celebration was recorded for prosperity. I’ll need to watch this a few times to catch all the action. : )

Kathleen, I thought the same- “hey, that’s a perfectly good pineapple top!”

Happy Birthday, Gordo, Tom, and Dan. Chad, the pictues of Rayne are beautiful. It looks like they all had a ‘berry’ good time at the party. Willy B looked particularly handsome.

Happy Birthday Dear Gordo. What a wonderful celebration. It’s always so heartwarming to see the Chimps enjoying themselves and it looks like the boxes were a big hit with everyone. The food looks delicious. I want to give them all a big hug, well I know that isn’t possible for many reasons, but when I see them in these videos and pictures I just want to hug them! Hugs to all:) Happy Birthday David, Tom and Dan, and Terrell and Paulette thanks for sponsoring this happy day.

What a fantastic day!!! I had to watch the video twice because it put such a huge grin on my face, so much fun! So many memorable moments. And most of all, it’s crystal clear how happy and healthy they all are. Hats off to everyone who puts so much time and love into each and every day to give our 16 their best lives possible. And thank you to our sponsors who make it all possible. And thank you to our photographers and videographers; so much talent!

Wow!! This was a party and then some! They all enjoyed the treats and enrichment so very much……when I think how long it must have taken you to wrap all those boxes, I’m in awe of your dedication. It must be so satisfying to see how much fun they have, and how much your work is appreciated. Cheeky Burrito…..it was worth a try but he didn’t stand a chance against all-seeing Jamie.

Got a photo of one of the chimps in my mail today, an unexpected b-day present, and now I find myself mentioned in the blog. Thanks so much. I feel bonded with Gordo now.
