50/50 Chance

July 20, 2022 by Kelsi

In the mornings, especially with two groups of chimps, it’s either calm and playful or a little chaotic and loud, it’s rarely in between. However, this morning the chimps on both sides chose calm and playful. I hope you enjoy this nice long video!

Today is also wish list Wednesday. Donating on our Amazon wish list is really great way to support the chimps and staff!

Hopefully in not quite the same manner as Willy and Terry! Yowza, those two were sinking some teeth into each other’s skin; hopefully their fur mitigates some of the impact.

Some PhD scholar should test Burrito’s playfulness quotient! Off the charts!

Oh Burrito… That guy is just so funny and adorable. Such a sense of humor and always finding new and unique ways to play.

That grooming puddle at the bottom of the stairs was sweet.
Is that Mave.who laughs.as loud as Burrito, or.Gordo? Gordo won some person space for Dora! 🙂

Burrito!!! What a funny guy. (I heard you giggling Kelsi!)

I so enjoyed seeing Burrito entertaining himself. Don’t get me wrong, I totally enjoyed to seeing the play wrestling of Willy B and Terry, Mave and Dora, Mave and Gordo, and Burrito and Foxie too. One of the best things about sanctuary is creating close bonds and friendships and playing to your hearts content with your pals. But sweet silly Burrito shows us that sanctuary is also about having great laughs thrashing about all by yourself, because you can!

Kelsi, thanks so much for sharing your morning chuckles with this feature lenght film. 🙂

Oh, I love that move of Mr. B scooting on his hinder in reverse while rocking a paper scarf. Oh, dear Burrito, don’t ever change…
