Bananas for Kongs!

February 9, 2022 by Sofia Castro-Loza

Today all three groups got food puzzles as daytime enrichment. The puzzles were Kongs filled with oats and mashed bananas and they were a hit to say the least.

I can just imagine all of the grunts and squeaks! The oats make it seem even more nummy!
    Thanks, Sofía!

What a fun and yummy treat. Love it! This makes me think of my shelter dogs! Kongs filled with treats or dinner, and topped off (as a sealant at the opening) with a big fat smear of peanutbutter. You can freeze them and serve and they last forever! However, the chimps might get frustrated or bored working away on a frozen Kong. I liked Willy B’s idea of fishing out the filling with a stick.

What fun? Of course, not a surprise that Willy B. would have a tool to solve the problem.
Thanks for all you do to enrich their lives:clap::clap:?

They were all really concentrating on those kongs. Great enrichment!

Was the puzzle master the quickest? I was watching an old video where Jamie used a stick to get a vitamin that had fallen into the groove by the mesh. She edged it up to her fingers and the prize was hers.
The bananas and oats sound pretty tasty but this human would add a little whip cream.
Mave is looking as cute as ever.
