For the Chow!

January 14, 2022 by Kelsi

This morning Negra thought we should all go back to bed! Sometimes, no amount of peanuts is worth it, but chow… chow can be motivating!

Negra tried really hard to keep her eyes open.

But the grogginess had overcome her.

Yet, she still tried her best to wake up! She could hear the smoothies being blended and the chow being counted!

For the chow Negra blinked her eyes open!

But alas she closed her eyes again!

One bonus of Rayne with a mouth full of chow!

Oh, that Neggie is adorable beyond words (as is Rayne the chow-hound). I’ve no alternative now but to go on to Youtube and take yet another look at the (highly recommended) 53-second camera phone masterpiece “Good Morning, Neggie!” from 1.12.2018. The dialogue is pure Oscar-bait!

Thank you for the reference, Tobin! That was indeed a wonderful piece. Neggie was adorable there as she was this morning. How can anyone resist her?

Same thing happened to me when I tried intermittent fasting. If I don’t eat within an hour of waking up, I’m groggy again. Poor Neggie! I hope breakfast finally happened for her!

What sweet pictures. I totally agree with Negra / it’s just that kind of day.

Neggie needs a pully system installed that runs from the kitchen to her favorite morning nesting perch so breakfast can be delievered directly without Neggie having to budge an inch. So wonderful to see my dear friend. I’ve missed her. Including the bonus of my new friend ridiculous Rayne makes up for it. I think Rayne and Negra could compete in a Chow Off!

O sweet Neggie, you darling lady! If only you could hand deliver her chow, maybe install a special chute that runs right to her special nesting place!
