Moving Fourward

November 9, 2021 by Sofia Castro-Loza

Today was busy busy. While the usual daily tasks were in process, we continued introductions that featured a Honey B, Willy B, Cy, and Terry quad. During the beginning they spent a lot of time divided by the mesh while Cy and Willy B sorted things out with plenty of displays. When they calmed down we opened the mesh and they were together interacting for around 50min. A lot of grooming and playing went down today.

Willy B and Cy grooming – Willy B’s lip smacking was epic.

Honey B and Terry engaged in some intense playing. Terry’s mouth says it all.

Well, if anyone should be able to handle intense, it’s Beezus!
Glad Terry has changed his “excited to meet you” face!

    Thanks, Sofía!
Any indication so far as to who’s going to rule, Cy or Willie B?

How do y’all go about separating chimps from their groups for meetups? Do y’all have individuals in mind for a particular get together or is it more of a who’s interested at the time? Such a complex and interesting process!

I have wondered and asked the same, Kim. particularly in the case of the males

I’m afraid those punny boys have gotten to Sofia, too, Tom…..only those over 38 are safe, apparently. We´ve lost another…:grinning:

There was the attempt to integrate Honey B, Mave and WIlly B into the original 7 a year or so ago, but it didn´t work. Jamie has only seen the newest 6 from afar (and through the window/ from the hill)
