Jamie’s the Coolest!

November 3, 2021 by Kelsi

Throughout the day we have moments where we are like, “Jamie is the coolest”. I think I write a blog every year about how much I admire her. She just isn’t afraid to be herself. She says what she wants, does what she wants, and means it whether you like her answer or not! I think we all have to admit that is pretty freakin’ cool. What I love about Jamie is that she has so many layers. She is scary, she can tend to be bossy, but she is also silly and funny. This afternoon as I was trying to find blog material and I found Jamie demanding something very specific. I couldn’t find the exact thing she was looking for until I found her new star cowboy boots. On the other side of the building JB and a helpful volunteer are putting a roof on green house two and three, so she got a bit distracted and went to the window to watch. I went around the building to the window where she was looking out. She let me take these amazing pictures of her and then she ran out onto the Hill very playfully. Her intentions were not to walk but to get a better look at the project going on, Willy B in the chute, and of course to demand me to give her whatever grapes were still left!

This was the lineup for Jamie, including Chad’s cleaning boots that I was sporting for her.

These were the boots she was looking for!

View from the top of the green house. This was the project Jamie was managing from the window.

Jamie, isn’t she amazing!

Jamie is awesome! And she has quite the selection of stylish boots; I love the stars and the embroidered flowers. How about a new pic of Jamie’s current boot collection? I’d love to see what she gets to choose from everyday. It would be amazing to know what’s going through her head when she’s picking out her boots for the day?:brain:

My thoughts exactly, Kim. I think I’m a little jealous of Jamie and her boots. I need some style advice from her.

    Hi, Kelsi!
Just as I knew the earlier message was Katelyn’s, I knew when I saw the beginning of the post in my inbox, clicking the link would take me to a Kelsi post!
Wow, Jamie sure is spoiled! who wouldn’t love those boots with the flower tooling, and the star boots must make for interesting grooming after a walk!
Nice of her to allow so many shots! The angle of one of the last ones almost gives her that Honey B look of “Who, me!?” 🙂

me again. You know I don’t think I could have picked Jamie out in the crowd. But those last several pictures are incredibly helpful. Now I can truly put a face to the name. And her expressions are just priceless. I know you say she can be a terror, but for today that is just the sweetest face ever

“Isn’t she amazing” you ask. Yes. Yes! A thousand times YES! She’s the most amazing, the coolest, and perhaps the smartest. Those imagesa of Jamie taken through the window are simply beyond words. Especially the last one! Be still my beating heart. I adore Jamie, thanks for todays post.

(I am always amazed how tiny the chimps look when they are out on Young’s Hill. It’s inspiring!)
