Peak Fall

October 21, 2021 by Anna

In the last few days some much needed rain has rolled in to soak Central Washington. This change in weather seems to have brought “Peak Fall” to Kittitas County. The colorful Autumn foliage is perhaps in its brightest and most plentiful phase. Soon, strong wind gusts will surely move in to whip the leaves away. Young’s Hill is one of my favorite views this time of year.

Jamie chose to wear a special accessory this morning.

Happy leaf peeping everyone!

What beautiful visions these photographs capture! I love the closeup of Missy’s eyes, and the ever-so-dapper Jamie arrayed in the wearin’ o’ th’ green. Please show Jamie these pictures; even when she is preoccupied with her duties as Boss, she can display an appealing grin upon her lips.

Our foliage in Spokane looks just like yours! I love Fall and of course, Jamie’s neckware!

How wonderful that the chimps get to observe and enjoy the seasons too. They find something special about them all …..no more concrete and boredom!

Well it was chilly outside, so of course Jamie wore her scarf out. LOL

      My thoughts exactly!
As Boss you need to stay healthy and cannot afford the smallests of colds…….

Lovely views from Young’s Hill, the river looks beautiful. I was hoping to take a day trip over to Central Washington this summer or fall but not sure I’ll make it.
Jamie certainly is making a fashion statement with her scarf. I used to wear scarves in my younger years but I’m embarrassed to say that Jamie does a much better job of folding hers than I ever was.

    Thanks, Anna!
I always miss fall color, this is much appreciated.
As is that priceless photo of The Boss!

I always see these women with beautiful scarves wrapped, tied, strung, or draped in the most stylish ways while still looking casual—as if they just *tossed* it on. For the life of me, I have never been able to pull off the whole casual scarf thing. So I ask you, how is it Jamie managed to pull off that amazing tie job with her scarf?! Look at that will you?! She looks sensational! In the first photo I swear she’s saying “Oh this old thing? I just grabbed it and threw it on. Wouldn’t want to catch a chill on this damp day.”

I can’t remember when I last laughed that hard. Please tell Jamie I just love her so. Oh, and tell her she looks amazing.

Enjoy the colors, the photos are beautiful! Thanks Anna.

      is this my niece DeAnna?
I’m pretty sure I sent that aqua blue scarf because I specifically chose that color. It’s my favorite. (got a dozen or so for pennies on eBay for the chimps.). I’m so tickled she is wearing it!

        And she’s magnificent!

Thank you Paulette for sending the scarves. That particular color truly sets off the white in Jamie’s beard. Not to mention accentuating her delicious little bed head (see last profile pic)

I will be printing and framing this sequence of three. Guaranteed to make me chuckle every single time I look at it.
