Photos from the day

August 29, 2021 by Sam Jones

I don’t have a theme, but I have photos! Today was one of those days where I got some photos, but didn’t have a theme to tie them all together.

The seven enjoyed a cool morning on Young’s Hill, especially Burrito!

Burrito:

Jody:

Missy:

Cy, Rayne, and Lucky enjoying an after breakfast rest.

Here is how some of the chimps spent their afternoons.

Mave was enjoying the Greenhouse.

Jamie was keeping a close eye on Katelyn.

Terry was waiting for a game of chase!

Beautiful photos Sam. I think the theme of “Everyone enjoyed a beautiful late-summer day” is just perfect, no additional commentary is necessary. Perfect.

Burrito is on top of the world, or so it appears. What a breathtaking backgorund! We need to caption that photo of Cy, Rayne, and Lucky. Mave! That’s all I can say, just Mave! (I adore her face) And am I correct to assume that Katelyn might have been passing the garden and Jamie was hoping for a tomato or something freshly plucked and scrumptious?

Who needs a theme when there are photos like these to share? Thanks Sam!

I thought the same thing about Jamie! Eyes on the garden!

Caption: Hear no evil, see no evil, totally judges your outfit

    Hi Sam, great blog.
I looks to me that Cy and Lucky ( Rayne not so much ) have an oppinion on the fact that you took their picture…..did you ask permission? ?
There is no need for a theme, just beautiful pictures of beautiful chimpanzee people. I like that.

Oh I love these photos! Burrito on high! I’ve always loved the pictures of the chimps way up there with that beautiful view. And the photo booth picture of Jamie, WOW!
