Jamie’s Day

July 21, 2021 by Kelsi

Let’s be honest, everyday is Jamie’s day. But today, Jamie had no problem stopping us from whatever we were doing to help her. Don’t tell Jamie, but we love doing this. It’s the best when Jamie gestures for something in particular and you know exactly what she wants. It’s a great feeling to be able to give her exactly what she had in mind. For example, when she gestures for a specific boot or book. She will nod her head for the one she wants and then once you hand it to her she makes the low groan of excitement. That is the best. So all day felt like Jamie’s day because she had a belly full of raspberries, walks around Young’s Hill, naps, groomed with friends, and most importantly Jamie got to tell us exactly what she wanted all day.

Jamie is her amazing nest. Jamie was modifying blankets to help weave her blankets through the caging, there were book pages included in her nest, and a cardboard box. Not to mention she has a boot close to her while she reads a magazine. I think tucked under her chin is a boot page from one of her many boot books.

I can’t take credit for this photo because Chad took it yesterday, but it needs to be shared. Jamie deep asleep on a boot.

So on Friday Gordo seemed to be coming out of his shell a little bit. I thought this also needed to be shared. Gordo in a BOX!

We have some more birthdays coming up soon so keep check up on our wish list! Also, check out our new Wildlife ToyBox wish list too!

Classic! Gordito in his box. And I loved the ending of the video, showing Jamie asleep. As well as the one of her asleep on her boot. Today was an especially good day to be Jamie.

One PrimaRocker on its way! I’ve been thinking about it for a while, but never got an answer as to what size was best.
Kelsi, promise to show the Tiny One how to spin in it? 🙂

They do not seem to bother each other’s space for their nests…..or, am I dreaming ..?

      Not Jamie’s, lol!
I think some of yhem nest next to each other sometimes.
Come to think of it, I’ve never seen an Annie nest….what does an Annie nest look like?

Nutmeg really is huge, isn’t he? I never quite got it before.

Hey Kelsi, great blog, although I have to tell you that I got a bit seasick from the video!! 🙂
What Jamie wants, Jamie gets…just as it should be.
And that Gordo in a Box, so endearing…

I’m glad she’s enjoying the mummy book.
Were her first gestures “no, I’d really rather not be on camera now?”

Jamie. Jamie. Beloved beautiful scrumptious Jamie. Thank you Kelsi for being there at Jamie’s beck and call. Fresh raspberries and the time and materials to create the perfect nest for an afternoon of reading and snoozing…… Life is good! (And I see Jody showed Jamie her special technique of blanket shredding to make everything just so.) Thanks for the precious photo of Jamie sleeping on her cowgirl boot.

I think Betsy was running with the Gator because she thought you might have the back end stuffed with more birthday treats for her! 😉

Love Gordo in a box — CLASSIC is the perfect word for it but I think Gordo is “Classic Large” not “Classic Medium”! 🙂

awww Jamie…I love how eccentric Jamie is with all those endearing quirks of hers, as well as her super level of intelligence…
At times she fascinates me beyond simple explanation, & I literally get shivers up & down my spine…

Big ole Gordo playing in the box has made my day…I’m still laughing…

I hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend…Bless you all…
