Chimp Profiles: Mave!

June 25, 2020 by Anna

Age: 31

Nickname(s): Mavous

Favorite foods: Avocado, coconut, pineapple

Favorite activity: Chillin’

Important skills: Wrestler extraordinaire

One thing she would take with her to a deserted island: A pair of toe socks- plus she’d be pretty happy if that island came with its own coconut tree.

I’ll never forget the photo of Mave right after the 3 arrived. She was comfortably lying on the floor with her feet in the air, as though she’d always been there. Said it all lol.

What I will always love about Mave is the way she tried so hard to welcome the CE-7 as they were introduced to her group (CAL-3) – what a peacemaker she is! – and especially how she managed to reassure and calm even Jamie with big hugs and friendship. I had high hopes for that friendship. (sigh) If it had been up to Mave, I believe the CE-10 would all be enjoying Young’s Hill together by now.
