A little summer-like weather rolled into the sanctuary today. Many of the chimps have been spotted taking leisurely outdoor strolls to soak up some Vitamin D. On the other side of the building, the “Californians” have been spending a good deal of their time in the outdoor chute, checking in on their neighbors and getting their own doses of sunshine.

Just gusty winds and mostly gray skies here today. But the weekend should be nice!
I’m getting a kick over Burrito following Jamie on the patrols. And in a blink I would dive into a game of chase with Burrito. Can’t think of anything I’d enjoy more. Great knowing everyone was soaking in the sunshine and getting outside today. We had rain and wind followed by a brief power outage, yikes! But that’s April for you, you never know how the weather may shift from day to day.
