In case you haven’t noticed, the chimpanzees consume A LOT of fresh produce.

On top of making sure they all get enough to eat, we also try to make sure there is plenty of variety.

Oh and did I mention we are now filling the stomachs of 3 4 new chimps (Willy B counts as 2 😉)?
If you are interested in helping us keep our fridges stocked full of a variety of delicious produce, check out our Amazon Wish list and send the chimps a gift card to our local Safeway store!

Ten chimps and four bovines, how do you do it? You always offer the most amazing variety, oftentimes inspiring me to serve something fresh and different after reading your blog.

Tried to send you a Safeway gift card, but I cant buy it in Canada. Can you ask Amazon to include its Canadian site?
I love this blog. It appeals to the zoologist in me. Not over the top sentimental but shows the difficulty you face integrating animals who have had a rotten life into a social group. It looks like you are winning. But as you point out, that can change on a dime….even in the wild.
Thanks for the great work you do.

Pre-paid credit cards are also acceptable 🙂

It’s actually quite an honor to be able to help support one of my most beloved animal rescue organizations of all time…I have a lifetime of love & passion for Nature & all animals, with a special passion for our Great Apes that goes back a number of decades since my early childhood…When I was a little girl, my Father used to drop me off at our zoo (Cincinnati) every Saturday where I spent all day observing, photographing, drawing & writing stories about the animals…The Primate wing was always my favorite…
Your ABSOLUTE dedication to what’s ultimately best for all ten of these magnificent Chimpanzees deeply touches me in a way that’s impossible to express with simple words

I loved the pictures – each having their own favorite foods to eat. I will check into
Amazon and hopefully get a gift card for those beautiful chimps. Thank you.

I was just kind of wondering why you can’t set up an account at a restaurant produce wholesaler and have fresh produce delivered directly to you? The reason I ask is that I am a professional cook in a very tiny restaurant, and we have fresh produce delivered to us several times a week. I’m sure we go through waaayy less produce than you do! Sadly, humans like steak more than broccoli! Anyway, just curious, I’m always interested in the logistics of how people make complicated situations work! Thanks!
