Beauty of Sanctuary

June 19, 2019 by Kelsi

As a caregiver, especially if you are the one in charge of the schedule it is crucial to try to keep to it, but it’s also important to remember things don’t always go as planned. You learn to be flexible. That is kind of the beauty of a sanctuary. For example, I couldn’t get all the chimps to shift how I would have planned today. Missy stayed in the playroom, the rest of the chimps were in a front room or out in the Green House for breakfast, so I couldn’t close anything off to clean. You might see my dilemma, eventually it all worked out. However, the chimps got to make their own choice and when you think about that, it’s pretty awesome.

A few pictures of Jody looking radiant in the Green House:

Negra napping with a little smirk:

Foxie and those little toes:

Oh, the beautiful Farmer Jo! You know, Kelsi, if one didn’t notice that the spots in her eyes in Pic #2 are your reflection, you could almost pretend they’re her pupils, and there would be a thousand captions for that meme! “You Know, as I always say….”
She’s looking a tiny bit like Johnny Carson there!

You’re right about the second picture. Jody does seem to have a sly, little smile.

Yes, that reflection makes it look like her pupils, so that it seems as though she’s looking up at you with a coy side glance! The one below that is that one that makes me think of Johnny Carson…ears, . a look that’s a tiny bit surprised, smile on the ready!

So the big question is did you ever get to do your cleaning today?

That is a great question! Yes and what a huge relief that was! Missy just wanted to shake things up 😉

Kelsi – I am truly shocked at your calumny at Our Senior Citizens!

Negra is a Lady! Ladies never smirk! That is an expression of dignified contentment.

    Think Mona Lisa…not Madonna.
