Missy in motion

May 19, 2019 by Anna

Watching Missy move, particularly when she is in the open space on Young’s Hill is a true delight. There isn’t necessarily an obvious purpose to her actions, she is simply looking for adventure. I truly admire those that love to run, climb and jump, just for the pure thrill of it.

“She writes things with her movements that I for the life of me could never write with a pen.”
― Christopher Poindexter

Long may Missy climb and run and walk across her tightrope.

      Neither did I, Maureen!

The perfect quote to define our dearly loved Missy. I adore the fourth photo from the bottom (no pun intended).

It’s hard to imagine her adventurous spirit confined to a small cage for so many years. Every time I see her running, I cheer her on. 🙂

It’s a privilege to be allowed glimpses into the new lives of these chimps, and I’m so excited for the new rescues you will one day bring to the sanctuary. Thank you, CSNW!
