Burrito Wants to Play

May 14, 2019 by Kelsi

Burrito was laying in what we sometimes call the portrait studio, because it normally has great lighting and we can get stellar close-ups of the chimps. I went over to snap a few photos, but Burrito had a different idea. All Burrito wanted to do was play! Which I could not blame him! When you look into his Burrito eyes you would never deny him the simple joy of playing! So as you all will be able to tell it was hard to get a still photo of Burrito today.

Here is a Burrito photo montage:

There were so many amazing photos leftover from Jody’s 44th birthday bash , so I thought I would share just a few more!

Annie munching on a leek:

Jamie and Negra seeking some reassurance for this overly exciting forage:

The birthday girl Jo laying down enjoying all the snacks she gathered from the forage:

Negra surround by corn husks and lettuce:

Looking at these pictures, I can hear Burrito’s infectious Burrito-laugh. Which had to be a help to Kelsi because, with his hand over his eyes, how could anyone otherwise know who this master-of-disguise could possibly be?

By the toy in his mouth?lol….I swear, sometimes I wonder if he has an abscess or something…
Corn on Neggie’s belly! The only thing that takes away from the joy of that is knowing that it was Missy’s corn…

Perfect portraits of Burrito should look just like these photos, silly, goofy, full of fun and laughter and each one charmingly adorable.

Thanks for the extra photos from Jody’s big day, keep ’em coming. So happy we didn’t miss out on this photo of Negra with her belly covered in corn silk. Ummm, life is good!

    I’m really laughing “out loud”… : ) These are great as usual…
Love photos of sweet Burrito covering his eyes with his hands & Neggie’s belly covered in the strands of corn silk…
