This time of year, the chimps spend a great deal of their day grooming and napping in the greenhouse. When they aren’t grooming with each other, they spend some quiet time grooming themselves.
Foxie sometimes sticks her tongue out when she’s focused on grooming:
There is a definite aura of relaxation, particularly as the sun gets warmer and the breeze gets gentler. In fact, I’m getting a little drowsy right now, just thinking about it.
Luckily we have Burrito on hand to wake us up. With a block in his mouth and mischief in his eyes, he is always up for a good game of chase!
Gosh, I love these three pictures and Anna’s commentary. Foxy with her tongue out is priceless!
I think I know you, are you from Louisiana?
So how does anyone get in a good nap with fun loving Burrito racing about?! Great photos Anna, as always they brighten my day.
Thanks for this life lesson. A good nap is good for everyone.
Love all the postings, I can’t wait to see new ones. Than you for all you do for them.
