A little extra fresh air

April 18, 2018 by Anna

Last weekend, JB took down a couple of the clear plastic panels that surround the chimps’ greenhouse enclosure. We can take these panels on and off, depending on the weather.

The chimps don’t mind at all! Cozy blankets, a good view, and a little extra fresh air: the perfect springtime combination!

Just ask Negra:

I take it that Her Majesty approves of the change. What a beautiful sight it is to see Negra smile.

The beautiful Queen looks very cozy in her blanket.

While we are looking at beautiful, dear Negra can I assume she is looking out over Young’s Hill smiling at the sprouting chartreuse sweet springtime grass?! Fabulous photos Anna, made my day.

Hi Gabi – It comes down to personal preference. Negra loves to cover herself with blankets, and Jamie and Missy do it sometimes too. Some of the other chimps prefer to lie on top of their blankets, while Foxie prefers no blankets at all.

    Foxy!!! And her dolls. 🙂

Thank you for the updates and wonderful pictures all the time. After a long day at work, I say, “What did the chimps do today?” They are always uplifting!
